Dear Dustin Griefer,

I had to look up what is meant by "media messages"... And it appears they are actually multimedia messages sent to cell phones, and they may include graphics and such? I found one link that eventually they will even carry streaming videos!

Anyway, here is a link that kinda parsed out the information well for me...from an online course...their purpose is to persuade:

"Media messages use a number of techniques to try to persuade us to believe or do something. If we can spot the techniques being used, we’re less likely to be persuaded, and more likely to think for ourselves."
