My guess would be Mahatma Gandhi.
Who was the leading personality of India who's books were included in the syllabus of school and university in Arab world?
Welcome to Blurtit, Zahoor.
I doubt that we'll be able to answer your question either from personal knowledge or Internet research. I've tried a few Google searches which not only led nowhere but probably set Google back about five years. (I hope they don't cancel my account.)
Although it's not what you asked, the persecution of Zoroastrians in Iran led to the exodus of Zartushties to India where they formed a community (and built a university) outside Mumbai. (I had the good fortune to work with a man who was completing his Ph.D with them.) It's probable that their influence reached back to people they knew in Iran and even possible that their attitudes and ideas had some influence on Arab education.
I suspect you know the answer to your own question and are merely promoting that idea here. That's fine, but you'll need to give us some more clues.
