They're a popular item around here. Many different cake and icing flavor combinations. Out around Altoona Pa. They call them gobs. My favorite is chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. The seasonal pumpkin with cream cheese icing is good too. They do have a comical name though.

I love them. We used to buy them when I was younger. Now, my daughter makes them and I could eat dozens.

And in retrospect, the "once" was actually "twice"---first and last time.
