this was originally a question about a bump on my lip and how much itd cost to get it removed, and id just like to say thank you to everyone that answered and that ive accepted my bump as not a bad but a unique thing and am content with it now.

Too many factors for us to say. It depends on the size, the cause, and the skill of the person removing it to leave the smallest scar possible. Sometimes the scar is worse than the bump. I had one on my nose that the doctor said that would be the case. Unfortunately I got skin cancer right next to the bump and had to have a scar on my nose anyway. Thankfully when they took the cancer and the bump I had a great surgeon who left a very small scar that most people never see,

Yeah, but a scar ... you can make up a cool story of how you allegedly got it. LOL

Walter that is true! My step-grandfather had is leg amputated because of gout. He also taught welding at a vocational college south of Tampa. He used to tell his students he lost it to a shark attack while surfing. I don't think he was ever on a surfboard in his life. LOL
