Its a hard and demanding job to Administer a 5 Star World Site and interact will hundreds of complicated, whining, troubled, cheerful, encouraging, entertaining, messy, antagonizing, hurtful, loving, joyful, crazy, spammers, scammers, foolish, giving, caring, loving, smart, funny, lovable,educated, and plain people 13-100 on a daily basis. The site is certainly well-looked after these days, and the Admins must take the credit.

I have to say though, that I like a little "controversy" from time to time.

There ought to be room for quite strong differences of opinion.

At the height of the site's popularity, 7 or 8 years ago, when you might have several hundred people logging on every night, "violent" arguments and quite angry disagreement were commonplace, and it wasn't all bad.

I love Blurtit, even if it is sometimes slow and throws me off my account some times (not the administrators but just the website). Keep up the good work!

How did Ask.com do it? Is that why this site does not have advertising? It would be nice to pay them.

Also, is spam the main issue on Blurtit? Reading your Q, I just recalled that no one has yet "pounced" on my answers when they disagree...as they would on Ask...why not?

I love how you guys give us the freedom to ask "chatty" questions or "poll" questions. (NO pun intended! LOL) You let us be ourselves. You let us have fun in respectful manners. You let us be serious, heartfelt, and tearful. You know our hearts. We laugh, we cry, we jump for joy when one gets married, graduates, gets a job, has a baby, gets to visit their grand kids. We are a family and we couldn't be with out you all's support. Thank you for keeping the site great and safe. :0)

We thank you and all the other great members of this site. It can be hard at times but we do our best. I hope it's enough.

yes they do a great job

Of course they do a great job.

They are just like the senior referee officials in professional sports. They are most familiar with the rules and they administer them impartially and we all agree that their calls are the final arbitrators of what happened on a play.

And yes, they are most valuable when judgment calls have to be made.

And in the heat of the game, they are also valuable to the players to keep everything in bounds.

Outstanding job people---I couldn't multi-task at your level.

I think they are a great asset to the site and really fun to interact with them ...  :)

The mods here have an excellent sense of fair play, that is missing on almost all other Q&A sites. They don't have a heavy-handed approach if they need to rein someone in, but they're not pushovers to the trolls and spammers.  This is a place to learn and to play and to have some fun with friends. What could be better than that?
