I see your point. We are on the internet. You will get all kinds of feedback. Sometimes snarky or sometimes downright rude. You just filter it. Take what you need and ignore the rest. Depending on the question sometimes people have to be tough to get the point across. Don't take it too personally. My friends here are a wonderful bunch. You will find a lot of kind, helpful and knowledgeable people here. With some their presentation might be gruff, but their hearts are in the right place.

What fun is not having "snarky" answers

I'm not enjoying the religious questions that seem to try to flame everyone up. I do agree with the others; I just try and filter out the snark, unless it really becomes a problem with a certain Blurtit member. If you're being harassed, use the CONTACT link at the bottom of the page and the Mods will review and take action if necessary.

I have to admit that I am a culprit of this....

However, when other people do it, I either ignore it, or have a laugh depending on my mood, the question and the answer.  But i mainly have a laugh... :-D

Snark means different things to different people. Some people think that any answer that isn't a pat on the back, and a "That's right. I agree with you," is snark.

On a public forum, if honest answers are not sought then perhaps sensitive questions shouldn't be asked.

Sorry if that's considered a snarky answer. It isn't intended to be. (I'd be interested in your comments on that.)
