Hang in there Skunky ! Just do like Angela said and unclick the e-mail notifications you don't want or care to see. That's what I've done and it cuts them way down. I think you're an asset to the site and would be very unhappy if you left! Just do your own thing and have fun. Don't worry about the edits. Just don't "accept" them and move on! Hang in there young man!

You will get those notifications when you edit your own answers or questions. If it's from someone else? Who cares ? LOL

LOL. im not gunna leave. it took me a few weeks of trying various sites to find the one that i liked the most. and blurtit happened to be it. the mods on here (including you) are great people :D this site does have its flaws but the pros outweigh it. And plus, blurtit is my new home and i will be here until its gone lol.

Skunky, if you go to your profile and then click notifications, you can select or de-select to be notified via email of your edits and numerous other notifications. Choose what you want notified of and click update. I hope you choose not to leave as we enjoy your input.

You'll get them in your notification bubble, but just ignore them, I edit my stuff all the time.

That's up to you, Skunky. Stay or not as you choose.

But if you do decide to go you might like to change your name from Skunky Good boy to Skunky Goodbye.

We felt the same way about Ask, Skunky. But this is an excellent site. I'm not fond of the edits either but I keep a text editor my my task bar and if I want to check and answer before posting I copy it to that and can edit without being hounded by the software. You could try something like that.

I've thought about leaving, it's not the editing notifications that bug me it's the childish questions that I get sick of. But I've come to ignore them, and move on. I've only had a couple of edit requests, usually when I post an answer when a few beers over the limit and my vocabulary is incorrect such as their for they're and so forth. I either correct them myself or ignore them. I've actually enjoyed some of your answers and comments, it would be a sad day if you left, but it's all up to you.

I suppose every site has their flaws and what not. its impossible to find a site that you like 100%. but. i ain't gunna leave blurtit because I like it too much,. I've tried dozens and dozens of sites since sodahead closed last month and this was the least annoying site I've tried so far. its great in my opnion lol. i hope you don't leave either.

No I'm not going to leave, I just hope the owners clean it up a bit. I just get sick of the childish questions.

Thats good to hear. and as for the questions. this site isn't as strick at ask.com so people are gunna ask more childish questions. which  I don't mind because it rings a little homour and fun to the site but i just ignore the innapropriate questions.
