I can picture myself in 10 years. That is a good length of time, so whether or not that picture will be accurate is a different story. I picture myself with my wife in our house. I have finally been accepted into an IT firm where I will have been working for a few years already and, of course, I picture myself with all of this with my wife standing by my side. Good luck!

I can. I always have a future vision of the life & the position I'm working to have. But any of them might change in some aspects, But i'll always have a plan B as well to not break down with a simple or big changes that force me to change my life's path. The best way to predict the future is by creating it, so i have a purpose with clear picture off of it & slowly getting closer to it as i have done the same for my today.

Well, yeah, I can. It's not a particularly pretty picture.

Ten years from now I'll be 88. Barring accidents or unexpected illness I should still be alive and should still have all my marbles (that's the family history). On the other hand I don't expect to be particularly mobile.

With any kind of luck, Double Day and Harper Collins will get into a bidding war for my novel and Hollywood will buy the movie rights. I'll make zillions of dollars and splurge some of it on a beach-front home at Mollymook, about 200 km south of Sydney.

There, Mrs Didge and I will live a luxurious, pampered life, attended by hordes of kowtowing servants, while the kids spoil us rotten in the hope of getting a big cut of said zillions.

I picture myself in 10 years as being able to have met my life goals. My long term goals are to build a bigger family, promote at work and purchase a new home.  WIthin that time frame our cars will be paid off and our debt will be gone and we will be in a much better position to save extra money for retirement and the kids college.
