YOU COULD ALWAYS USE BLOCK CAPITALS.

IF THAT'S NOT ENOUGH THEY COULD BE BOLD.

WITH ITALICS ADDED.

AND AN UNDERLINE FOR EMPHASIS.

As far as I could see, It only can get bolder but not larger.

There should be an option in the browser settings (depending on the browser) that can zoom in on the page to make it less difficult to see. Good luck.

As a Blurtit user I was told by head Admin not to use Bold typing I wish the rules could be different. What makes me wonder is why is it there if we can't use it ? But I do agree with you it should be allowed to be used to a certain point .
