If you want to improve your metabolism, then the trick is to ease yourself into a healthy routine.

Your body and your metabolism adapts to its environment, so if you're not very active, your body will recognize that your routine doesn't usually require high amount of energy, so it tries to help you out by conveniently storing that energy as fat.

If your body is constantly thinking "hold on" this guy is going to need this energy for all that activity he does through out the day, it will keep it ready to burn when you need it, resulting in a higher metabolism.

So really, booting your metabolism is all about teaching your body that you're going to be burning if the energy

How to get high metabolism fast!

The quickest way to increase your metabolism is to start doing the following things from today. And not just for a few days or a week, stick to this plan for several months in a row, and I can guarantee you will have a higher metabolism:

  • Eat the correct number of calories. Men shouldn't exceed 2000 per day. Ladies under 1500. The actual figure varies from individual to individual, but these numbers reflect is a safe zone.
  • Work out. Make sure you are regularly burning more calories than you're taking in. If your intake is 1500 calories per day, calculate what you'd need to do to burn 1501 calories.
    Don't expect to hit that target straight away, it's something to work towards.

    Day one could be about burning 200 calories. Then the next day you burn 250 etc...
  • Bulk up, muscle burns more calories.
  • Keep your diet consistent. Like I said before, high metabolism is all about teaching your body about a 'new set' of requirements. Don't go confusing it by changing the amount of calories you're taking in each week.
