What's your favorite thing about Blurtit?

I first joined the site 4 years ago, in June of 2009, needing help with one question. After joining the site, I quickly became hooked on it - for several reasons!

One of my favorite things about Blurtit is the community. I've developed a lot of friendships with several users of all ages, from many locations, etc. There were a few bad apples here and there, but overall, the community is probably my favorite thing about the site. I never knew you could find so many friendly people online in one place.

Some of the questions I've seen on here are a great part of the site. These questions are so great for a few reasons: Some questions were tough to answer, and I always loved challenges, some questions were about topics I loved discussing (especially the sports-related questions, although there were never that many of those), and some questions were funny! I've seen several funny questions on here, and I still even laugh at the thought of the funniest question I've ever on here (Yep, even 3 years later).

Another great thing about Blurtit is being recognized for your positive contributions to the site. Yes, Blurtit might have did away with their "points system", but there is still a way to be recognized for all you've done. That awesome "Thank Writer" button is a way to let an answerer know that your answer helped them out, and knowing you helped out a user is a very rewarding feeling. :)
