There are mainly three ways to transfer tracks on your PSP. One way to transfer musical tracks onto your PSP is to use a personal computer (which is abbreviated as a PC) whose memory stick slot is built-in. The second way to transfer musical tracks onto your PSP is to use an external memory stick reader which has been connected to the personal computer, and the third way to transfer musical tracks onto your PSP is connect your PSP directly onto your personal computer. This can be done using a Mini-B-type USB cable.

To transfer music onto your PSP, you need to use the drive on your personal computer which is labelled as the Removable Disk, which is usually in the E: drive. You have to click on the removable disk and click further on the directory which is called the PSP directory and then on the directory which is called the Music directory. The MP3's can be copied onto the PSP by selecting and pasting them onto this directory.
