A dog! I like cats but Dogs are a lot more fun and I love them! I wish I could have one but the Apartments will not allow us to have them not even if we pay but maybe when I move! I want to look for somewhere where they will allow me to have one and then I can look for one on that site!

We already have a cat and we lost our dog of 18 years last February, so my answer would be a DOG. And when we do get another dog, we will go to a rescue shelter or to the Humane Society to pick one out.

Well I wouldn't want either due to expenses, and the fact we already have four cats and two dogs. But if I were obligated to choose, I would choose a cat because cats tend to be clean, quiet, sophisticated, and independent.

I'd take either a dog or cat. I have a kitten who would probably like to have a pal, but I think he may remain an only pet. I'll have to see what comes up in the future.

I have two dogs - Both German Shepherd. One of them looks at cats as pray animals, so I can't keep cats in the house. She is also very possessive of me and doesn't want me to share my affection to any other animal, except her. At this point in my life I would really like having a small dog.
- Cats say, "love me! Love me!" as they brush their fur on your leg, asking to be picked up.
- Dogs say, "Love you! Love you!", as they wiggle their tail and smile at you.
I love cats, but Dogs are the best... For me.

Since we already have 3 dogs and 2 cats (all rescue adoptions), I just can't imagine taking on someone new right now. But, we live in the country and I wouldn't mind adopting a goat at some point. They get abandoned at shelters too.

I have 3 cats and 2 dogs... We just lost our 3rd dog a month ago. I definitely would like another dog... There's so much adorable stuff for girl dogs now. My Annabel Lee had a pink collar with roses, and the matching bowl...lol.

I would love to have a cat, my old cat molly died recently anmd id love to have her back but having a new one would be just as good as her and also cats are much easier to look after in my situation [full time student] so for those reasons cat but a dog would be good if i had all the time in the world as i have never had one.

Dogs are my favorite; my husband is allergic to cats. We have three dogs right now. Two of the dogs belong to my sons; we are watching them until they can get a place where they are allowed to have them. My little girl is a Shih-tzand her name is Shastra. Peace

I would love to have the dog. Mine is getting old and blind, and he needs a seeing eye dog. My little fella was a seeing eye dog for the dog we had before. I love dogs. My Mom was allergic to cats so we never had any. I like them O.K., but I love dogs.

Actually it will be a PUG breed dog....I had it years back and i miss it a lot and i want it now..Cats.....ummm..........actually in India,,,,cats are considered unlucky to be tamed and so its not possible...and cat's life span is small and no!!!!!!!they have a huge number of kittens..I don't want me to be called---OLD WOMEN WITH 37 CATS!!!!!!!!(although I m now only 14)...he he he....
