I don't want to confuse anyone as to who I am if I do change my user name. What would you do to prepare your friends of a name change? Peace

In leiu of your current user name, peace is a very good screen name that speaks volumes about your personality. Whether you wish to change your username to peace because you use it after every comment, or because you promote pacifist views, peace will serve as an excellent user name. If you wish to change your username to peace, then I am sure you will represent it well.

Peace tells use more about you than Thmpsn. I like the idea of names that have meaning more than names you did not pick because you were born with them and had no choice in the matter. Besides, peace sounds more like you, judging from what I have read in your answers. Your friends don't need preparation for the name change, just acceptance. Do it. Besides, your friends don't have to like it, you do.

I would do just as you have done here. Sign you name as "Peace" and when leaving messages -- leave your name as "Peace" and that way everyone adjusts. Great idea -- Go for it!!!!

Follow your heart. There are a couple of Blurters I can think of
who changed their user names. It was a little confusing at first,
but then I realized who they used to be and I got used to it. If
you notify people, I don't think there will be any confusion at all.
I used to be under the impression that we were stuck with our screen
names and that they couldn't be changed, but if the option is open to
you and you want to take it, I support you fully.

Ever heard of Ayn Rand's book Anthem? Here's where the names disappear and the word "I" is forbidden. Simply said the name doesn't steer me one way or another, in fact I find your username quite different and easy to pick out from the lot. In addition I think the photo says quite a bit. I shouldn't judge a person by a photo but for some reason yours already expresses peace. My vote? Keep it! It has won you friends based on what you said, not what your name was. I find this fact alone demonstrates no need to change it. As for God's point of view He values, again, what you say as most important. That's my long way of saying if it works, don't change it. Given the previous comments I think I'm in trouble :-) That's okay. (I seem to be good at it)

We are all seeking for peace in our lives. As a Christian and a person that likes to keep peace I wanted to change my name. I hope that I do God proud by my actions and the words that I say. Nobody is perfect. However, needing peace in my life and knowing others are seeking peace is why I am changing it. It won't go into affect until tomorrow. Peace
It's a good idea. And I've always seen you writing peace at the end of the conversation, so changing your name into peace will probably tell why your user name is Peace. =D if you change your name into peace but still keep the same avatar, it will be easy for people to recognize that it's Thmpsn. Or you can give a shout at everybody's shoutbox to tell it's you.

I think it's a wonderful idea. You always end every post with Peace, so its definitely fitting for you to use Peace as your user name. Ive been thinking about changing my nic as well, but I cant think of anything other than my name. I think peace suite your personality... Go for it Hon!

I like the idea!!! Just get it before someone takes it!!! Your tag all ready is peace, and you would have a great time spreading peace throughout blurtit!!! I would say a peace symbol, or a dove, but why not both??? Here is an avatar that has both in the picture!!!: Any of those good??? Those are my favorite from a LOT of pages!!! :)
