A big dog is rather difficult to take care of and tend to be more expensive. Besides, I can't house anything bestial. A small dog on the other hand is no doubt the contrary. Nascarnut will tell you.

I like little dogs sweety. I don't like the big tongue and the big tail. the tail usually knocks stuff of the table. and i have 4 little dogs a mini dashound ,a peekapoo, a puga poo and a chihuahua (spelled wrong)and part pomerinian. They are great family members for us.

Please forgive me for my comment to tiggersmom I love all types of dogs it is my neighbor has this tiny little puppy that weights no more than 3 lbs and when I baby sat her for 12 days I had a hard time getting her to go and use a kitty litter box that they told me to use and I had to clean up her tiny pebbles everywhere.
For years I had nothing but large dogs (130+ lbs) but after my Rottweiler died, I got a poodle and love it. Poodles are so smart, cute, and they don't shed. Great Dogs. As far as large dogs go, the standard poodle make very good guard dogs and have been said to be very protective of their owners.

I like them all! Currently without a big one but am looking. Big ones have a lot more body heat during a cold winter's night. The tig should know what a "three dog night" is.

I would choose the kind of dog I would buy, based on how much time I had to spend with it. And how much yard space I had the bigger the yard the bigger the dog as long as I had enough time to train it.

OH BIG! I live were there are MANY places to walk and swim and do all sorts of things. So a big doggie is something I've always wanted. Besides, I'm sort of ashamed to say it but (and don't think I'm awful) I can't stand the little ones with there voices and personalities.

I prefer cats, but if I had to choose, I'd say a big dog. They're protectors and quite cuddly at times! The little ones just get in the way: They remind me of furry footballs in need of being punted across the yard. >.>;

I have three black labs. two of them are over 100lbs and one is only 45 lbs. Currently the two litter mates male and female are 11 years and 5 months old and the male I am going to put him down soon he is blind and having a hard time walking and climbing stairs. I don't even think that I can do this because they are all my babies and my children.
