Our 1999 Chevy Astro Will Be Running Great And Suddenly Start Jerking As Though It Isn't Getting Enough Fuel. We Have Replaced Fuel Injectors, Fuel Pump, Fuel Pump Sensors, And Fuel Filter. Sometimes It Runs Great For Several Hours!What's The Matter?

There was a Technical Service Bulletin put out about this exact problem roughly 2.5 years after we bought our 1999 astro brand new. If I remember correctly, they had to replace the item that feeds/controls the fuel injectors. I don't remember the name of the part, but it did do the trick. (and luckily at the time it was under warranty). Go to a chevy dealership and ask them to print up the TSB on the fuel system problems your having.

I just got off of the phone with my dealership that did the work, and they stated that it was the "injector assembly", and that it was an updated version.... whatever that is, but I haven't had a problem like this since then.

By the way..... do you have electric windows? and do you have any problems with them?

Yes, we have electric windows. We had trouble with one not going up.

Our son took the door panel off and cleaned the connections. He says the motors often need replacing, however. In our case, it was just the connections.

Our son says he replaced our whole fuel injector assembly, so we are still stumped with what is up with this van!!
