Supermarkets should discourage
cycling and eliminate all cycle
parking, IMHO.
Which "they" is encouraging you to
take up cycling? That's about the
worst thing you can do for the
environment, clogging traffic and
causing more cars to idle, spewing
exhaust into the air. And think
about the energy it takes to
manufuacture those bicycles that
cause all that car pollution.
If you were truly green, you'd hoof
it to the grocery store, and use
the door the grocers generously
provide for you.

Speaking as a person that works in
one even if we do it dose not
matter. I am for it . But cyclist
are usually the most inconsiderate
of all customers. They tend to lock
there bikes to cart carals with a
bike rack 2 feet away or they tend
ti bring them in the store and drop
them at the door way causing a
hazzerd. Sojust remember this if
you ride to a grocery store use the
rack not the front door to park
your bike or a cart caral.
