If the girls parents are willing to
help her, then she should keep the
child if not it would be very
difficult for the couple to be on
their own together.she would be
stuck on welfare and be dependant
on her 17 year old boyfriend who as
you say is a bad boy so he most
likely isn't a reliable participant
in the relationship,or responsible
since at 17 he got a 14 year old
pregnant.i feel if the parents
aren't willing to help her the
best option for the baby would be
to put it up temporarily "open
adoption"until the girl can get her
life on track towards being a
mother.she could also find out info
on places that she could live and
stay at with her child, that will
help her care for her child while
she gets her g e d and takes a
vocational trade,there are some job
corps that offer this kind of
assistance.

I agree even tho you are very young
i mean why would you give up such
an innocent child plus it took two
to make it so two gotta raise it no
body else because you made it it
was your choice you should be able
to have your baby and plus who's
saying you can't

I agree provided you can provide a
loving and caring environment your
the child. Also all necessities
must be attended to, to ensure that
your child possesses what is
needed.

She did the deed she should get the
responsibility that comes with
it... He did the deed and he should
get the responsibility as
well....and a baby is a big
responsibility.

Yeah but her and her boy friend
have to take care of it. If they
want to make kids they should take
care of it.

If it is her baby she should be
allowed to keep it.

I believe in this case, the parents
should have the say, since they
will be the ones to be responsible
for both.

I think she should have the child
and her parents take charge of in
and her until she is of age. She
needs to learn a little more
responsibility too.

 Her personal circumstances are
irrelivant. She got pregnant, so
now she's a mom. Abortion is out of
the question. Abortion shouldn't be
used as birth control.
And adoption is a good option.

Let her have the baby. It might
keep her from making the same
choice about having sex again
anytime soon...

I don't think abortion is right and
i think that i if she wants to have
her baby she should have it and if
not adoption is a possibility

Having a baby at such a young age
can be devastating on both the
child and the mother. Although
things can work out. The 14 yr olds
life and dreams will be put on
hold- if ever accomplished. Some
say if you are responsible to have
sex then you are responsible enough
to have a baby. This truly is a
dumb statement. Any idiot can have
sex. Having sex does not ( although
it should ) mean that you are a
responsible person.

Not healthy, safe, and over all a
negative outcome for all.
It is not fair to the child or the
girl.
